Come OUT for shabbat in the village; kiddush with queers!

A downtown dinner date for Kulanu Toronto folks!

We’re stepping OUT. It’s our first Shabbat dinner date away from Hillel's Wolfond Centre for the year 2005– and you know how exciting first dates can be! This one promises all kinds of excitement.

We’re heading downtown to the corner of Wellesley & Sherbourne, to 495 Sherbourne Street in fact to the brand new Wellesley Community Centre.

When you say? Friday June 10th

Homos! Chalah! Liquor! Lesbians! (well, not liquor exactly, but we promise there’ll be Manischewitz, and you know Manischewitz makes in a party)

We want to welcome the diversity of LGBTTIQQ Jews!

Dinner will start at 6:30 SHARP (as we need to be out of the building by 9:00)

Goy-friends (regardless of gender) are welcome too.

The cost is tba but we can tell you that it will be less than $10.00.

To reserve your place, (because it’s not Pesach and we wont be setting empty seats for you or Elijah) call Chana, Hillel's receptionist at 416-913-2424 or e-mail by June 7th.

You are cordially invited to join the York Pride Committee. We will be meeting to plan lesbian, gay, bisexual, intersexed, transsexual, transgendered, 2-spirited, queer and questioning Pride events at York, and York’s participation in Pride events downtown.

All are welcome.

The first meeting will be held Wednesday May 25th in rm. 307 of the Student Centre from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Refreshments will be served.

There is no dress-code. In lieu of gifts, IDEAS, TIME and ENTHUSIASM are requested.
